Lip blush is a subtle treatment that uses a hint of colour to create a soft translucent definition, blending away slight imperfections and creating symmetry and beautiful, youthful lips.
Lip blush is the perfect choice for people who want a flawless look to their lips in the day with the option to apply their own bold colours at night.
If you have a signature look then full lip colour is the choice for you. Where lip blush gives a gentle shade, full lip colour uses a stronger, fuller colour for a more made up look.
Like lip blush, full lip colour will blend away imperfections and give shape and definition to your lips. Choose from a range of fabulous colours to create a look all of your own.
Lip treatments take up to 2 ½ hours. They start with an in-depth consultation where we discuss your expectations and work together to choose the perfect lip colour, taking into consideration the tone and colour of your natural skin and lips.
Together will discuss how you want your lips to be. Occasionally, we discover that some lips aren’t suitable for micropigmentation. If this is the case, we’ll let you know straight away and you won’t be charged for the consultation.
The next stage involves us creating an individual template of your lips. We will draw the template, taking care to stay within the contour of your natural lips, except where a slight correction is needed, and will work with the natural shape of your face and lips to create the perfect result.
The treatment itself uses the highest quality pharmaceutical grade pigments and high quality rotary tattoo equipment to gently infuse the colour lightly into the very top layer of your lips. The treatment can be a little uncomfortable particularly around the bow and the lower lip which are sensitive, but we will use a pre numbing cream to keep the procedure as comfortable as possible.
Your lips are sensitive and they will feel sore after your treatment. They will be slightly swollen and look heavily coloured. For this reason, we strongly recommend that you do not have the procedure done on a day when you have other engagements.
Lip tissue can take up to two weeks to settle, but the swelling will soon go down. The colour will dissipate during the healing process and will blossom 4-6 weeks after they heal. You will be given full aftercare, soothing balm and advice on how to look after your new lips. A touch up appointment is included in your price.
